Auditions for CLUE: The Musical
I am really excited to be having auditions for this show. I have been wanting to produce this show for a long time and I think it will be a great show to start off the 2010 season! I hope you consider auditioning. Comment and let me know if you are! Also, who is your favorite CLUE character?
Below is more information about auditions:
AUDITION FOR CLUE: The Musical. Based upon Parker Brothers' board game "CLUE." Book by Peter DePietro ~ Music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci ~ Lyrics by Tom Chiodo. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
CLUE is a musical comedy based on the Parker Brothers' Board Game. The internationally popular game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world's best know suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon. The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun filled evening. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard-nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem. Comic antics, witty lyrics and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room. Even after the culprit confesses, a surprise twist delights the audience.

Everyone is welcome to audition for this musical. The auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Everyone who plans to audition should prepare a song to sing. We will provide a CD player, or you can sing without music.
We are also holding auditions for a piano player. Prepare a piece of music to play for us. This person will have to be able to learn the music for the show quickly and be able to rehearse along with the cast.
